Sally and I want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the pleasant experience that you made of the recent building of our lovely home. When I first viewed your model home in Eagle Creek and the one in Arbor Acres, I noted the quality of the workmanship in your homes. When I first spoke with you, I sensed you were a builder of integrity that takes great pride in the quality of the home you build. I also noted that you were practical yet willing to accommodate the customer’s wishes in any way feasible. Those first impressions proved true and accurate throughout our building experience. This is the third home we have built in the last 10 years and this was clearly the most pleasant experience and the finest quality home we have owned. Additionally, you accomplished a rare feat in the building industry- you provided an exceptional quality home in less time than originally quoted! When I tell people, you finished ahead of schedule, they are amazed. Your strength in scheduling, exceptional organization and exceptional communication kept us appraised well in advance of decision points so that those decisions could be made with due deliberation rather than in a stressful, hurried fashion.

Sally and I appreciated the approach you took to options we considered. You were patient in explaining the pros and cons but left the decision to us. Further, you were very upfront in detailing the cost differential, plus or minus, of any changes we wished to consider. Having worked with 2 other builders before, we were amazed and most appreciative of how accommodating and fair you were in making changes. Your subcontractors clearly understand your drive for quality and it was reflected in the pride they likewise took in their work. We got many unsolicited comments about how your standards are higher than other builders for whom they work. We found that your suppliers were courteous, professional, very accommodating and most helpful. While my background is quality assurance/control and I consider myself a discriminating customer, when it came time for the final walk through and make up of the “punch list”, you were more critical than we. You noted items to be corrected, rather than trying to hide them or make excuses. Likewise, your suppliers were very prompt to correct any items-it is obvious they value your business because they are proud to be a part of a Galik home, as are we very proud to own a Galik home. Perhaps we can best express our feelings about doing business with you, Bill, by saying we felt that we acquired more than a home in this transaction, we established a friendship and partnership. As a young married couple with no prior building experience, Bill was able to draw from his knowledge and point us in the right direction. His suggestions on how to best maximize our space, while sticking to our budget proved invaluable. As a father of two, Bill was able to offer insight into the importance of extra closets, and square footage for our future family. He also pointed out things that would increase resale value.

Bill kept us consistently up to date as the building process started, and was quick to remedy anything that was not up to his high standards. He gave us plenty of advance notice on when our selections were due and researched for the most cost-efficient providers of these products.
